Nothing can prepare you for how life will change irreversibly at that moment of birth, nothing can prepare you for your heart to grow 3 sizes when they place that slippery wee body on yours, nothing can prepare you for that moment when your eyes lock with her's and she captivates your heart and you know you will never be the same, nothing can prepare you for the sense of awe, and complete adoration for this helpless wee babe, just moments old.
Somehow now life pre-Aria seems almost grey in contrast to the colour and beauty she brings, and I cannot help but whisper thanks to God for his beautiful gift, to marvel at his creation, she sure is fearfully and wonderfully made!
